[Data obtained from the IUCN Red List.] Data Deficient (DD) According to the data available, S. madagascariensis is an endemic of mid-elevations of the Montagne d'Ambre Massive. However, the pending revision of small Stumpffia from northern Madagascar may reveal a larger range. We tentatively suggest the status "Data Deficient". KÖHLER, J., M. VENCES, N. D'CRUZE & F.
