Yes / probably This species is known only from two sites on Iagifu Ridge, near Moro, in the Southern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. It has been recorded from an elevation range of at 900-930 m asl. This species might occur more widely, but intensive surveys have not located it around Kopi, Gobe and Mount Sisa, suggesting that is distribution might be genuinely small. Its estimated extent of occurrence (EOO) is 25.80707 km2. It occurs in the Kikori Integrated Conservation and Development Project area, in which there are strict controls on vegetation disturbance.
